I am trying to place spot elevations along various section of a stepped foundation. I seem to be able to only place the sport elevation on the top of the lower foundation wall. All the rest I cannot highlight the foundation wall, only the attached footing below the wall. Tried all kinds of tab tricks, hiding things, changing the view cut planes, and so on. Anybody got any ideas how I can add spot elevations to the top of a stepped foundation?
Thanks in advance.

OK I found a solution. The cut plane of the view must be above the top of the wall that I want to select. Then I hid all of the extraneous stuff like other walls, then placed the spot elevations, then changed the cut line back.
Is there an easier way?
