I am working a stair in which the hand rail ends on the ceiling or the first floor.
Can some one tell me how to work the hand rail to be able to end it on the ceiling itead of allowing the handrail to end without embedding it into the ceiling and the wall above.

The only real way you are going to be able to achieve this will be to model the handrail in-place enabling you to use voids to cut it. Unfortunately voids cannot cut railings. I'd suggest filing this as a support request with Autodesk so they are aware of this need.
