You print them seperately and if needed, re-combine them with an appropriate PDF program.

If there are many formats, then re-combine for a very long time. There is a very fast method. Print everything on a huge sheet and then drop it under the format. Read here: https://measuredsurvey365.co.uk/revit-to-pdf-batch-printing-different-formats/

I always used Adobe to recombine my sheets and that was very easy sice I still batch printed the same tpes together.  Not sure your method is any easier and this statement at the bottom of your process: "But if you work in Revit, it is better to use DWG instead of PDF, you need to do nothing there, except clicking the “Export” button."  is just plain crazy.

Export to DWG is well tuned to Revit. Printing to PDF is terrible. I had to print huge projects of 200-300 sheets. And there were 10-15 different formats. Putting all the formats in place then will take you a lot of time. In my method, 1 clickWinking

I recommend to look at the "ProSheets" plug-in for Revit by DiRoots.

It's free and prints in pdf, dwg and several other formats very easily, transparently and efficiently.
