Is it at allk possible to extrude or sweep a 2D element, like a line. I am trying to make a family or model comprized of zero thickness planes that appear as 2D lines when cut in a perpendicular view.
I cant seem to find any answers and have tries everything that makes sense to me? ANy thoughts would be greatly appreciated .... I would love to show this functionality to everyone blocking revit usage at my office.

A typical extrusion requires a closed loop. That means thickness. But, you can use massing environment to create a form (extrusion) out of a line.
