I have been trying to modify the jamb thickness of these HM steel doors. I was custom jambs that are 6" wider on each side, kind like side lights. Tried to edit the extrusion, no luck. Cont figure out how to change the paramaters.  Here is a link to the doors:

Can you be a bit more specific as to which doors you are referring to?  Your link leads to multiple doors.

I believe the typical Revit door jamb is a profile sweep,  As such, you would have to edit the profile family to put an option there and then control that in the door family.  But then there is the head.....should it be the same as the jamb?

On that sire, steel pair, no glazing. I tried to change the profile, no luck. There is a ref plain or hidden formula that controls the jambs.

In the door family, the door opening, which now has to be larger, is controlled by the opening cut and that is sized in the family.
