I am new to Revit and am trying to figure the basics out. I have created a simple model for now, 7 walls, 4 door, 5 windows and a tub. the model is 32' square, I did say simple. In this model I have creatred a wall section and an interior elevation. While in the file everything shows up in the project browser pop up.

My question comes once I link this fine into another I can see the floor plan, but the section cut and the interior elevation do not show up. I am stumped on what toggle I am missing to have these element show up when I link the frist file. The floor plan shows up but there are no additional drawings listed under "Elevations" or "Sections" in the project browser.

Revit links are basically 'MODEL' links.  Sections, elevations and even floor plans are basically 2D views of the model.   The floor plan you see is your floor plan, not the linked model plan.  While in an appropriate view in the host model, you can edit a view's VG and under the linked model, you can use link by view to see the linked view.

This is a beginners mistake and something good to learn early.   Most elements that you want to tag, annotate or manipulate should be in the same model you want to cut your views in and to place on sheets.  Linked models are good for consultant model elements that you need to see in your model.
