A couple of walls that have openings in such as doors and windows wont show up in section, ive done all the basic checks e.g. checked the VG and to see if they are hidden but they are not.

Can someone please advise me.

if you are sure that those windows/doors are assigned in the right place and level , so are you using phases ? that might be the override that can hide the door and restore the opening , and if the opening is there but the door or window isnt showing check workset visibility , and finally make sure that the family itself of door/ window is intact ,

i hope this helps

Thanks for you reply, but its not the openings im having problem with its the wall itself, im not using phasing for this perticular job, everying is on new construction, my problem is that the wall will not show up in sections that cut through windows and doors, any ideas on how to sort.

Many thanks

WW Please find attached.

As you can see in the images there should be a wall above and below the window.

OK... I see a wall below so probably not VG but it could be phases even though you say you are not using them.   Just a click away.

Could this wall be on a different workset that is off?

Always list what Revit and Updates you have installed.    There are issues that are associated with releases although I don't know of any like this.

Post a little 3D image and the properties of the wall.  The wall is continuous, there is not a seperate little wall under the window, correct?

I see no reason for this issue.   I'm not on 2017 yet

I see 2017 has two updates - you don't sy if you have them installed.

There are times when a file becomes corrupted but this may be an update issue if you haven't updated at all.   You can always check what you have installed in the ? dropdown - about.
