I want to add a 3rd "dot" or handle to the leader family so I can make all my leaders appear to match from a detail. We always have a straight portion coming from the note, but if I need to angle the leader somewhere else, I cant have the straight part too. I would also like the leaders going to the right on a note with 2 or 3 lines of text to come off the end of the note instead of the end of the first line. With dimensions, is there a way to override the default dimension text?? At times while detailing items have to be exaggerated to show up correctly, but then when dimensioned it needs to be different than what is actually drawn as. Also we use dimensions that dont have the actual length, i.e. a dimension line that reads - 1/2" dia. anchor bolts at 24" o.c. Thanks

I have this same question.  Has anyone found out a way to modify the number of segments on a leader line?

No not really... we got an answer back from Autodesk, stating your firm will be added to the list of people wanting this change and it should be added to a future release... since we have gotten two or three new versions...

My work around was and has been using a blank leader that I downloaded from here or possibly augi.com. It is really a pain though especially if you put a bunch of them in and then change the scale of a detail or drawing.

Good Luck
