What I am assuming happened is I created a new floor level in my elevations and my viewport is now referencing the elevation because that is where the level "link" is.

Is there a way to make a viewport the default view after the fact?

Is there a way to detach links so that a viewport doesn't go backward?

How do you create a level and related floor plan without going into Elevations?

Is there a way to edit viewport so that you can create "Reference on Sheet" where you can dumb in the referencing detail (my boss likes to put every possible reference on detail items)?

Annotate tab>Tag panel>View Reference>View Type and/or Target View. Is this what you’re looking for?

No, I don't think so.

I am talking on the Sheet.

In the Viewport Title Block it has a referencing sheet and detail and I need to change where it is refered from.

I'm not sure what you are asking.   If you created a level, there is no reference to 'cut from', the title will simply be View * on sheet **.   It is a floor plan.   Did you cut a section in elevation and call it a plan?  If so, then that is the wrong process.

To create a level follow this process from your HELP.  During that process, you are given a chance to create a plan as well.   You can also add another plan view at any time using the plan dropdown.   If an associated plan for the level already exists, you will have to change the switch to show all levels, not just those that don't have an associated plan.
