Perhaps (and most likely) a completely simple explanation, but is there a way to set up a view template whichd displays all walls as a single line (for export to laser cutting). We make a lot of models and it would vastly cut down on prep time if there was a way to streamline this export.

Make a wall type that's REALLY REALLY thin and swap them for the thicker walls ? The wall justification (in plan) will have an impact as well.

Sure, you're exporting it as CAD anyway right?

Is your laser cutter by color or by linetype?  Associate your wall's CAD linetype to the appropriate colors, hit save and away you go!  This will probably take some time since you're customizing the palatte, but you can easily save and export it to your other computers as well since you can "Load from..."
