This plane I use for window heights. so I want to see it over all my facades / sides. So I went to my front view, Noted that it had the "3d" mark. but it still doesnt show on side elevation... So I stretched the plane (in the front view, to the right so it would show in the right side elevation...) and the plane immediately changed to "2d" and I still cant see it in my right side elevation.

could use some direction!!

Thanks in advance.!

the solid blue dot is the 2d control grip. the 3d control grip is a hollow blue circle and that is the one that needs to be dragged so it crosses the extents of your elevations. The grip changes from one to the other when you click the 2D/3D symobol hovever if you move the grop when in 2D the 3D one does not move with it and the 2 grips will become seperated but both being visible. if you move the 2D grip back into the 3D grip the 2D will merge with 3D one.
