I'm working with curtain wall that is set into large framing element created with profiles and sweeps. I want to have a piece of the mullion that extends to a vertical element within the frame as it turns the corner. I've found that generic models are able to cut mullions, but why can't they join? This would be really helpful since we were not blessed with the ability to create custom corner mullions. Has anyone been able to trick Revit into doing something like this? Thanks.

I think I can offer a possible solution, as I recently troubleshot a similar issue. However I’m a little apprehensive about sharing it with you without having the site moderator’s permission. WWHub; May I post it please?
