Hi,

We have created a new window family, started from the generic window family, and it shows fine in 3d and elevation however it is not cutting the walls in plan view. The window is the full height of the wall so I don't think it is a view range issue. I have also check and all the vertical components at the top of the window are uncheck to show in plan/rcp. The wall and the window  are also set to the same phaswe.

We have searched the forums and can't find a solution. Hopefully someone here can help!

We are using Revit 2016.

Is this a stacked wall or multiple walls?  If so, look at the elevation and join the walls.

If that is not your problem, try increasing the wall thickness in the wall in the window family.

Do you have a plan region defined in that veiw? Does window display correctly in other walls? Have you tried replacing Opening with a Void Extrusion?
