I'm working in an in-place mass family where I am creating a divided surface to use to host custom pattern-based curtain panel units (since you cannot have custom curtain panels host to a curtain wall that is also attached to sloping roof plane!). Everything is working but now there is some glitchy visibility once I finish the mass...the newly created panels don't consitently obey visibility settings. Looking into it further I see that the pattern based family applied to the in-place mass has a seperate workset! Um, how is that possible little Revit doggy? Isn't everything that is created within the in-place mass have to be on the same workset? Furthermore, the workset of the divided surface cannot be changed to the correct workset! It seems like the only way to do it is to completed delete all the geometry and start over with the creating the host form on the correct workset. This cannot be true! Does anyone have any insight on this?
