New to Revit, was sailing along pretty well and ran into an issue.  The room numbers on my Room Finish Schedule are out of order.  I'm using 2105 out-of-the-box, no additional renumbering tools added on at this time.  

I have renumbered the room on the plan a couple of times -- click tag, change number, next -- did I do this wrong?

I've read that Revit should automatically renumber the room in order on the Room Finish Schedule...?  Mine does not seem to be doing so.

The room finish schedule always reads exactly the rooms you have placed.   I think your problem is the sequence you see in the schedule - correct.  The ordering of the schedule is depended on your schedule setup.   If your sort is by room number, then they will be sorted by number.  You can have multiple sort priorities.
