Hello fellow revit enthusiast. I've been using Revit for couple of years for modelling but now I involved in drawing documentation. (RAC 2014)

So, I need your help guys. Where can I find the floor drop symbol (see attachment). Usually used to indicate slight changes in floor level. I dont know what the other name of it but I hope you guys get the idea. Should I make a new symbol? Can somebody teach me how to do it? or are there other ways to put it in the drawing?

Sorry if this post is in the wrong topics.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

We use a spot elevation symbol that is set to relative to the floor - see attached.

BTW - This depression is a void family - floor based and fully parametric.

We set up or spot elevation so that it hat the target and the text 'AFF''.  You could alter yours to show/say what ever.

We use the attached symbol in our drawings. You could easily change the revit family to match your drop symbol as you would like. Since the symbol you want to use seems fairly simple all you would have to do is open the attached Revit family and remove any hatching. Then use lines to make the symbol the way you want it to look. Once you are done save as. Make sure your project is open then "Load into Project".
