This project that I'm currently working on will not keep the changes to a view once I link it to the correct architectural view.  Once I save sync and relinguish and shut down, I will then open up the same view that I was working on and this view will be linked to another sector of the same level, not the sector that I just linked to before shutting down.  Can anyone shed some light on to what is going on in this bleeping model?

You need to explain this better.

What Revit?

What link - Revit-CAD?  Where is the linked file?   Is the path set correctly?

I don't have a clue as to what you mean by sector.  You were talking about view.  Are you trying to link a Revit view from a linked Revit model?

I'm using revit 2015 and I think the problem is with duplicating views to create different sectors of a building.  My guess is that I duplicated the view instead of duplicate as dependent so when I make changes to one view it will change it the another as well.  Not for sure but this is the only thing I can come up with for this.

I think you misunderstand the process you can do.

You can have multiple view callouts that reference the same view.   For instance, one wall section placed on one sheet but with multiple section cuts that refer to that view.   No need to duplicate views - read about reference other view in your help.

Not all views can be duplicated as dependent.  Be carefull with duplicate as a dependent.   This is a special tool - best used with plans that have match lines.
