Hi you guys !

I have a really big problem i hope you can help me with :-)

I work with ventilation units and have drawn some of my products in Revit 2014, the problem is that my customer uses Revit 2012 because his customer (architect) works in 2012.

Is there any way of downgrading the families from 2014 to 2012 ? It does't matter if it loses some of the parameters as long as the "form" doesn't change...

I've seached the web for an answer but all i could find were people trying to downgrade projects, and found that it isn't possible...

Any help would be appreciated :-) Sorry for bad english :-)

Could convert Revit 2014 families into AutoCAD files and then recreate the families in Revit 2012? Least then you'll have the 3D information.

Wouldn't IFC work?

Export IFC 2x3 from Revit 2014

(Revit-2013) Open - Open IFC  - Save
