Hi, I looked around here and via Google and didn't come up with an answer.

I have a stacked wall that is beasically 2 stud walls - the base wainscot has stone veneer and the upper part has clapboard siding.  Studes are same size and continuous.  The wall itself seems to work fine except when I insert a door into it.

Once the inserted door cuts the wall, the stud space switches the stone veneer in plan and the clapboard disappears.  The interior drywall is still there, but then it goes right to stone.  The stone actually shouldn't even appear at all because the cut plane is well above the top of the veneer.

It shows up correctly in related sections and elevations, just not the plan.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

You don't show a section and that would help.  Your problem is that your door may not be cutting both portions of your wall.  Try joining the bottom portion with the top in an elevation or section view ... or joining your door to both portions in a vertical section through your door,.

Thank you for the very prompt response!  The door was joined to both parts of the stacked wall, apparently.

The problem seems to be related to how the wall type wraps at inserts.  I switched the wrapping to NONE and it seems to have corrected itself.

Thanks again!
