revit 2016*

 

hey, Void extrusion on "model in place" work on one model -in-place and doesn't work in the other one.where am i worong?

For model in-place elements, the void must be part of the original model in-place.  Open the model in-place and create the void there.

That's what i did. no?

I did the same exact action on the first model-in-place (the white cube) and on the second. isnt that right?

Unlike the first instance, you have multiple extrusions in that second in-place family.... Because of that, you need to tell Revit which form the void is to cut before finishing the void.
