Hi!

I have a problem with a text font that I want to ad to Revit 2015.

The text font is Penumbra that is a True Type Font, I've installed it on my PC and everything works, I can use the font in word. But when I want to use it in Revit it dosent apear in my text list.

Is it someone that knows how to solv this probleme?

If I remember correctly, dragging and dropping the file into my font directory didn't work.   I had to install it.   The system help says: "...Right-click the font you want to install and click Install."

I installed it by right click on the file and choose intall, so I dont think the intallation is the probleme in this case.

Something else must be wrong.  Even Autodesk says this;

This is probably you installed the font twice or multiple times.

I've encountered the same problem when developing my fonts.

Try this:

1. Reboot your computer.

2. Run "Command Prompt" as administrator.

    Type: cd %windir%/fonts

          del penumbra*

3. Open the Registry.

4. Look for the penumbra key and delete it under

  \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts

5. Press F5

6. Reinstall the penumbra font
