Revit 2016,
I want to copy a section cut as annotation, not have a new section created, and keep the same referencing. I found a forum where they said to click 'reference other view', but this option is greyed out on my screen when I select the section.
I have a large apartment building where I had to split the plan views up, but both views have the same typical sections, and I want to show them the same on each view.
Thanks

You must select 'reference other view' before you place the section callout.
