I need a stone hatch pattern and am downloading .pat files from here and elsewhere but when I import them, they all appear corrupted in the Preview window and aren't showing up properly on my surfaces. Attached is a screen grab of my dialog importing the hatch with shows what's going on. I've tried a couple dozen installs with always the same corrupted result. I'm porting them as "model" hatches and the files all appear to have the requisite Revit text added.

I haven't done much hatch pattern importing. The process seems straight forward but maybe I have a setting wrong somewhere? E.g., maybe I'm in metric and these hatch patterns are in a different unit?

Probably a bad hatch to begin with.   Some hatches made by an automatic hatch generator don't always work.

Thanks for the thoughts. Turns out it was a newbie mistake and I hadn't noticed the scale factor at the bottom and it was importing with a scale of 1.0. When I bumped it up to 24.0, it looked great.

If the pattern is made correctly, then the scale will typically never matter.   However, when you have very intricate patters, tiny lines become a problem.
