I've only been using Revit for a few weeks now and I'm trying to design a building and I've come across a couple of questions that I'd like to ask and see if I can get any help.
1. Does Revit allow for yard work like fountains, pools, fences and other things of the sort? Is there an add on that will allow these things?
2. I want to create an overhang walkway on the second floor. Is it possible to just draw in the floor without it being connected on all sides with a wall?
3. Is it possible to have one room on a floor with a different height in the room. Example, the floor is 10 feet high, but, one room I want to make is a slant, so, it starts at being 10 feet high and eventually ends up being 15 feet high at the other end. This would be like a lecture room or hall, where it would have stadium style seating.
4. Can Revit do decks and porches? If so, how would you go about setting them up?
I think that is all for now. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

I take it that some of my questions are answered, like the deck one, in the turtorials that I have to purchase?

1. Look in the "Family" here, at Autodesk, and built-in to Revit; I have seen these items there.
2. Yes, you can create a floor without a wall.
3. I would imagine that you would first draw the roof over that room at the desired height/slope, then attach the walls to the roof.
4. Yes, see #2. Just draw it in and you may want to offset the height a couple of inches below the floor of the building.

Ok, how do you place a pool and such? I've seen it in the Costa Rica house in the Gallery, but, since it's not downloadable, I can't look at it and learn from it. Is all you have to do is make an elevation below the level and just put walls up around it to enclose it?

Yes something like that. This is how i have done a pool in the past.
Just create another level (at the desired level) and draw in walls (of your choice) and draw a floor in.

Rhyus, I found that using the line option when creating a floor (as opposed to the pick walls tool) works much better - the pick walls tends to snap to points you really don't want it to snap to.
Using the line option with floors also is a handy way to create a mass (i.e. benchtop) provided you don't want to schedule it at a later date.
Be patient, again - try out all the tutorials to see how easy it can be!
