Hi all, is there any way to make REVIT add together the valves we have upstream in each pipe? As you can see in the image attached, I can sum up the flow (in green), but I don´t know how to make the same with the valves (in red). I need the amount of valves upstream for EACH stretch.

Thanks,

If you are asking if there is a way, yes there is. Put another connector and a parameter on your valve family, probably electrical connector and make the value as 1 and create a new system for your valve count.

So you can easily understand. If you have a mechanical equipment, you will have a connector for your electical and for your piping connection.

electrical will compute for the total Kw and GPM for the piping.

If you just need to count the valves, assuming they are on the "plumbing fixture" category and there is no other plumbing fixture other than your valves. Break the pipe on where is your downstream is then select the system by hovering your mouse pointer and pressing Tab until you selected the whole system. Click on Filter, this will tell you on how many valves are on your system.
