I have been importing CAD files to REVIT. They work fine the first time the second time I tried it only imported the content found in layout space. (i.e my title block) I am not sure why this happened, all the settings in revit were the same.  I tried wblocking out the content of model space but the same thing happened when importing the file on imports my title block. Any suggestions?

I'd start by making sure the CAD file is last saved in Model Space.

Thanks for the reply Dgcad. I actually figured out the problem I was having a while ago.

I was importing/linking the CAD while i was in a "sheet" view in revit.  I guess that is why it was grabbing the layout from the file. If you import into any other view that is not a Sheet then it will import or link properly.

Ah ha . . . . . it wouldn't occur to me to import / link a CAD file from a sheet view. Good to know however.
