Revit 2013

Hi all. Is there a way to make a parameter out of the width factor of a text label?

No - no matter what you seem to mean.

Width factor ?   Of the letters - no

Of the label area ?   Set when you lay it out.... if you need options, have multiple label text areas of different widths set up using different parameters to switch the correct one on and the others off. .... or have multiple label families.... like 'Room Name Wide' / 'Room Name Narroe' .... OBviously they you may also want to have different width text for each of those.

Thanks WW. I'm trying to make a titleblock family and the sheet number for this titleblock would have the width factor parameter. We need an adjustable width factor because certain sheet numbers are longer than others, thus requiring a smaller width factor. We can make all the sheet title width factors the same, but then the sheets with shorter names look too skinny.

Not a problem Create another titleblock or titlebock type as I have written above.
