The selected faces contain both upward and downward pointing faces. Only the upward pointing faces were used.

how can i make roof like this? it shows this error when im trying to use roof by face?

I’m not sure what you mean by that.

With roof by face, try changing ‘picked faces location’ to ‘faces at bottom of the roof’ in properties.

Have you tried walls by face?
