I am wrapping a concrete column with other walls.  The column takes on the fill pattern of adjacent walls when one or two of the walls are aligned with the face of the column.  The columns' properties remain unchanged, and the column sometimes returns to its native hatch when the walls are moved from the face of the column.

Attched is a photo showing two identical columns with wraps.  The walls were copied from the upper column and tightened up around the lower column.  The columns are linked from a Revit Structural file.  Both version are Revit 2015.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Jonathan

That is what architectural columns do.... consider them to be more like a pilaster.

From your HELP:

Architectural columns inherit the material of other elements to which they are joined. Compound layers in walls wrap at architectural columns. This does not apply to structural columns.
