Ok - I have a complicated family I’ve created for tilt concrete panels.  The family has 2 doors, one on the left, and one on the right.  Often we flip the overhead door with a 3’-0” door.  And flip it left to right.  So we just mirror it.  The family was setup so it could be mirrored (and works correctly).  But I have no idea how to tell if it is mirrored once I have mirrored it.  Is there something I’m missing here?

Is there a way to include something inside the formulas to inform me if it is mirrored?

Thanks.

I don't see any way to report that short of two seperate families and then a mirror would defeat that.

Bummer.  Ok, i was hoping you or someone else would have had a thought on that.

All of my parameters were setup with "Left" and "Right" in the name.  when you mirror it, it gets confusing since the right is now the left.  Not a really big deal since you can easily figure it out by togging a door on or off.

Thanks!

You may try to add a mark in your family elevation using invisible lines.

That mark can tell you that if the family has been mirrored or not, it cannot be reported but at least you may check on elevations.

An invisible line can be seen in family, but not in project.

However, when you pick that family in a project, you will see those invisible lines as a blueish image.
