Hey guys I link in my survey plan from the land surveyors for adjoining dwellings and levels althought on my shadow plans some of the text off the cad file is missing.

Is there something I need to do to the cad file once I link it into revit? Cheers.

Not nearly enough information.

Is the layer, that the text is on in the CAD file, on in VG settings in your view?

Is your view cropped?

Is this portion of the 2D file covered by a 3D object that is above it?

yes all layers are on.

the view is cropped but not near where some of the text is missing.

nothing is covering the portion of the 2d file.

I will have a dimension off the 2d cad file. Will show the dimension and the arch ticks but the measurement will be gone.

Title boundary measure ment the word title will show part of the letter E the rest is blank. its just random not sure why...

use Import CAD,then set the scale to the one used in the source drawing, then explode.

Don't explode CAD unless you really want problems.  If you need to explode CAD, do it in an emtly project where you clean it up then copy paste from that into your project.

Select cad link and set 'draw layer' to 'foreground' in properties.
