In revit 2012 I have placed different vehicles from ReviCity, one called "Chevy Express Van" They show up in perspective views and in the model but not in plan. They are not hidden, although when using reveal hidden they appear with no option to unhide. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

You should learn to look at these families in the family editor. That will tell you a lot.
The Chevy Van is a CAD import into a family. You really would not like to see this in plan unless it was rendered because it is faceted. You could edit the family and turn off the import in plan and have permeter linework. That would be better.
As to why you can't see it in plan:
- Is something above it?
- Do you have the category on that it is in? Look in the family to see what category.
- In your plan view, in VG/imported categories, do you have CAD Imports in families on?
