Hi There! i have built a model but i need i need to put details of wall (sound & fire insulation block, i got BIM revit file from manufacturer of product, i linked the revit file and it has been imported into my project with its origional drawn size and i am unable to change size to put that block instead of general wall....any help?

Hello Dgcad! I am sorry if u didnt understand my question, I have imported a BIM (of sound/wall block) from manufacturer website, i have linked that file into my project, but that wall block doesnt change size to use into project ...how can i use that wall block to size of my choice ?

Walls are walls.... Although you may define them as having a block structural core, you don't use components to create Revit walls.

 

Giving us a link to this product would have helped us to understand what it is.   I am assuming it is like concrete block but assuming is a poor substitute for you not explaining.

hello WWhub! I have attached th file for you to view,

 

It is kind of partion to use as a wall, Britishgypsym, its 122 thick and company did full details of this block partion, i just wants to link this to revit, which i did successfully, then i wants to use this sound/fire resistant block into my project  wherever i want.

 

when you see the attach BIM file you should be able to understand my query,

Don't link the file drag and drop it in.

Then select from the wall drop down.
