I need to draw a symbol to indicate the type of section beams. There are many type of beams in the drawing.

If I use a "section view" this generates many views and I can not repeat the same section number.

I read that I can use a callout and use the "reference other view " option but I don't want to see the box of the callout area but only the symbol.

Do you have any suggestion? I would appreciate it very much

You could use a custom wall tag if you're not going to ever need to change the view numbers of the beam details (it won't update automatically).

Create a section tag that has no tail and use that.  The actual cut line can be very-very short.

Just an update....

I tried my solution and learned something new. When you reference other view, the new callout uses the same reference as the original callout.  So if you cange the new callout to one without a tail, your original one will no longer have a tail.

Ouch!   Sorry about miss leading you.   Of course you could still use this and add a detail element tail to the original callout.  NOT a good Revit practice.

I'm sorry , I just realized that what I need is simple.

It's the same option of Callout but using Building Section.

I mean I use building Section and select the options "reference other view ". That's all

I already solved , thanks for your support.
