Hi there,
I use Revit Architecture 2014. I am trying to figure out how to make an Existing Phase to look translucent/transparent after Rendering.I tried to change it in Phasing/Graphic Overrides/Material of Existing phase, but existing phase appears to be just solid grey after rendering. The reason I am trying to do this is to make existing buildings appear like a 'background'. For example, if there is a street of terraced houses and I want to create a new construction between 2 existing terraced houses, I want the new construction to be looking normal, but 2 houses from the both sides would be for example white translucent/transparent or grey translucent/transparent after rendering. So the new construction 'stands out'. It is simply for presentation purposes. Is it even possible to do this in phasing settings?
Thank you.

And additional question would be: Buildings marked as Existing Phase don't show shadows. Is there a way how to change it?
Thank you
