Hello. I tried searching for an answer on here but couldnt seem find specifically what I need.

I am looking  for a way to have levels be relative to each other. As shown in the photo I am looking to change the hight of 2nd FLR PL HT to read 10' instead of 20'9" but still have first flr pl ht read 9'0". Is there a way to have the level be relative to the 2nd flr and not the 0'0"?

The same goes for bedrm 2 and the 3rd flr. We do not need to show the total height of the building but only each floor to floor height.

If this is possible with just editing the family that would be great.

Thank you for your help.

Not sure if I read your question correctly.

Levels can be referenced from project base point or survey base point.  These are type based settings.  And you can set your beginning level to whatever you want using that reference choice.

After that, dimensions are your only choice that is parametric.  Otherwise you would have to do dumb text in the level family.

I guess I didnt quite articulate myself very well but in essence I want every flr level to act as a base level and the pl hts reflect the height off of the each individual flr. i.e. first flr plt height will read 9' and 2nd flr pl ht will read 10' because that is the height above the relative flr.  thank you for your help. if there isnt a work around I understand putting in dummy text is an option.

Can't do it with levels, but you can do it with the Spot Elevation tool.
