I am working on a tag that will show the "actual" area of the room and then display the "Program Area" which is a parameter that I have created in the room data. It was not a shared parameter and it was not working, so i went ahead and created a shared parameter for the room tag family, but that parameter will not show up in the room data. Not sure how i can get the tag to talk to the room data.
In the image I attached the "?" should be the "Program Area"

You need to also load the shared parameter into the file. Manage- Shared Parameters- Browse for your parameter file- select the parameter and click OK

When you add it to the project, you have to add it to the rooms category.
