Hi all.

I have a problem printing in revit 2014. If I print with the thin line on my lines are so light that I c'ant see most of them. If I print with the thin line off my drawing is fine. So when I shoot 4 copies of my 15 drawings only to realize I had my thin line on I just wasted a lot of paper.

I would like to know if anyone has had this problem to try and figure out if it is revit or my printer. Before 2014 I never had any problems printing. It has started with revit 2014. And we have had the same printer for years.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

We always print with line thickness due to line representation standards. Otherwise it would be just a random print without any simbology.

Not sure what you are doing.... from your HELP

"...When you activate the Thin Lines tool, it affects all views but does not affect printing or print preview....."

WWHub, I know what you're saying it shouldn't affect the printing, but it definately does. Just had one guy come over to me trying to figure out why his revision clouds were printing thin regardless of what he put in for thickness. After a few minutes of checking settings, he asked me if the thin/thick lines could be it to which I reply "No that only affects the on screen thickness" and then for the hell of it, I change to thick lines and print preview, and it shows the correct thickness! This is Revit 2014 also so it must be a glitch with this version or something.
