Hello everyone - I switched over to Revit 2014 this year and  about 3 of my high school students are having a strange problem and it could be just that the file is corrupted but I'm not an expert.  Problem: in 3D walls, windows and doors look great.  In the floor plan view the walls look good but *some* windows and doors do not show.  If the mouse is moved over the problem area then the window or door is selectable as shown in the attached photo.  The other 20 students don't have this problem.  I've tried: using a different type of window, deleting the wall and inserting new windows, copy the stuff over to  a new file.  The strange thing is the some windows and doors work in 3D and plan view from a file that has these problems.  I've looked at the phasing too.  With the time already spent we could have re-drawn everything  but I really would like to know what is going on.
