Hi guys,
Pretty new to Revit having used AutoCAD for many years and although initial frustrations with the change over, I must say, I am loving what Revit has to offer and the ability it has, not only to create, but allow you to better understand a building.
Anyway, I have abit of a problem with a roof. I have a height restriction on the site, so having created the multiple hipped roof I specified the pitch at 22 degrees which was accepted. However it seems very odd at this portion (image attached) Any advice would be hugley appreciated.
Cheers guys,
Tim

Your image doesn't tell us much, can you circle or point to the area you are having problems with and explain what you think is incorrect

if you look at the picture, I'm trying to create a roof that has both east-west wing and north-south wings. but if I use the roof by extrusion then the wings are cut off. how can I make sure that doesn't happen

Being a newbie somewhat myself it looks to me you need to create an opening in the lower roof.
My best guess, hope it helps

Thanks guys,
My error as I had one element of the roof at a different pitch.. It seems when returning to amend a roof in plan, you must be careful as the previous pitch defaults back to 30 degrees... My fault for not checking though!
Thanks agin
