I need help understanding if there is a specific way to create Wall Openings in Wall elments so that when created Shape Handles are available to modify the Wall Opening.

Currently, I make a Wall Opening and I either see the shape handle(s) or I don't see them. If I don't see them I delete Wall Opening and recreate it until I see the handle(s) See attachment for clarification. Without the Shape Handle(s) the opening's edges do not cooperate when trying to either Align edge to Reference Plane (or anthing for that matter) and do not allow for me to drag edge.

Questions:

1. Is there a specific way to create these Wall Openings so that it will show Shape Handle(s)?

2. When I select the "Wall" icon under the Openings tab in the Architecture ribbon and continue by selecting the wall I want the opening in, am I suppose to click somewhere specifically (i.e. click ON the wall, click AWAY from the wall, click + hold, etc) ?

I can't seem to open your image but try clicking the opening in elevation / section. Also, use the TAB key to make sure you are selecting the opening and not the wall.

Will try it. If it doesn't work I suppose I will continue doing my tedious method. Thanks for the input.
