Hi. I am a beginner and I am doing a residential project. I have a sloped roof and I want to show that the roof has roof tiles but only using texture and not actually making roof tiles. Can anyone help me please. Thank you

Hi,

You should try applying material from the material library. When you create the roof, just go to roof properties and edit material.  You should find some default materials for roofing in Autodesk Library. You can even edit the image and use your own or material swatches from internet. Just make sure the scale is appropriate. If you are only looking for hatch, then you should still be able to do that from properties,, except you should use the graphics tab in Material browser and change surface pattern.. and use Model patterns. I know this can be confusing,, but check out some tuts on materials and hatches in REVIT.
