Whwn i tried to open a revit files i was working on it gave me a message "failed to open document"

the document exist in the directory but it wont open the file... how can i get this documemnt open?

How do i recover a document in revit?

The file is probably corrupted.  This often occurs when a user forcably shuts Revit down prior to Revit closing a file properly.  You will probably have to go to a backup file.....

I did just that lost some work but not to bad. so... revit doen't have a recovery feature?

That is work for me if the revit file and backup failed to open
