Hi guys...i got jury tomorrow! i need to finish my work today so please help..i am a beginner in revit.I am trying to load family to insert columns and other furniture.But after i click load family and select the tree or the column i need to insert, nothing happens..nothing at al..the screen is just like before. But i tried inserting a column first time and it worked..only that once...never again! help..

Hi RevitH,

Try this.

In your Project Browser, go to "Families", under "Columns" you can see for example "Rectangular Column", which is the Family, under it there are "18"x18", "24"x24",...., they are types, just select 18"x18" and drag to the plan, that's the easiest way for the time being. You can learn other ways later.

I tried tat! but i need a round column badly Sad cos its visible and has to be roundits not just this file but all revit files  and i need to ut plant and furniture too! not just column...how to make this work...

and wen i click render, It gives error message, 'there was some problem and revit could not render' and hangs and closes down...i have a bad feeling  Help
