Hi,
Can someone please advise on how to achieve a mitre joint. I have created a curtain wall panel using extrusion. I then in ref plan view....added a angled void extrusion to cut the corner to create a mitre end. I used 'cut geometry' tool to cut the void from the panel extrusions to achieve the mitre end.
In project view, when i allign to panels together at 90 degree angle to form a mitre joint, i i end up with a gap in-between. even when i drag the pull points together...i still end of with a gap inbetween.
I have been trying to solve this issues for days.... can someone please help.... Ic an send the Project file if you want to review it.
Please Help.
thanks

First, we never model the miter in the glass. That's kind of foolish.
We turn off the wall joins then pull one of the CW's to the far side of the other CW's base mullion. We add a grid line on that CW at the far side of the other CW's glass line. Then we place an empty system panel in that would be sliver of glass area. We then do a similar process on the other CW but remove the horizontals in the overlap area. Thus making a butt joint. Everything renders correctly and you then detail correctly.
