Hi there,

So i have a large topography in rhino but my focus is on a smaller part of the large topography. I want to bring in that large topography into revit as dwg then make it a topo just for rendering purposes. ANd i would like the smaller cutout of the topography to be the one i work with in revit (so it doesnt lag). How do i match these up?

If i import them together they cant be separated. if i import them separetly i cant place the smaller piece into the big piece correctly.

Someone please help me

export it to dwg and open it in autocad, and erase  everything except the part you want, and import it in revit and make it topo..

or just delet points that you don't want to use, just after you get the points from dwg in revit..

and you have to understand that when make topo with dwg, revit recognize only endpoints of lines, and convert them to points of revit topo..  and after you make topo, imported dwg has no relation with revit topo.
