I recently installed Revit Structure 2012 on my PC. The programme is running, but there are no families. Where can I get structural families and where do I put them. Everytime start Revit I get the following message" The default template file you specified does not exist. CPuhrogram Data\Autodesk|RST2012\Template\UK\Structural AnalysisDefault GBRENU.rte. To change the default file path from the application menu, select Options, and then the file location tab"

There is nothing in the above folder, is this where the families are suppose to be?

I can not find the application menu and the Options tab.

Please help.

Nee

It sounds like the families did not load when you installed Revit.  You may want to try to reinstall.

Families can be placed anywhere when you load the program.  Search your sytem for the families - then reset the pointer to where they are.
