Hi all, I feel like in the last two weeks I've been asking way too many questions but I feel like I am finally getting the hang of Revit, there's just one element I can't seem to figure out.
I have modified a wall so that it has a little cubby in it. I want to add recessed lighting to it, or really ANY lighting at all. However, everytime I try to add lighting, it attaches to the ceiling and I can't move it!
I've attached a photo (as always) so that you can have an idea on what I am talking about.
Any suggestions??

Hi ,
Because you used lighting family is ceiling base. you must change to another kind of wall base family. There's alot to download from library or make a new one of family by yourself.
Try to do it.

Actually, you don't want a wall based family either. A face based family can be placed on any surface.
