hi guys

im fairly new to using revit and some of my familys and librarys arent supported on my program so i downloaded the up to date libraries but i have no idea how to install them onto revit if anybody can help me with this i would be really thankful Smile

If you installed the real Revit (not a bootleg copy) the families would be installed correctly and Revit will recognize all of them.

No - they still should have been installed.

 

When you are in Revit, click on the R and goto the options tab - The pointers for the library are set there.  There are seperate pointers for different things - templates - families - default template etc.  Find your installed library files and set the pointers.
