So I just figured out one thing in the revit 2013 and now another thing is givinf me grief..The Beam/Column join command works great ..I have some beams sitting on my curtain wall , and I can get one corner to join but when I try the other corner, only 1 beam is highlighted or darkend and the other beam I need to connect to is greyed out and Im unable to join..What am I doing wrong? They are the same types and on the same level..

To make the Beam Column Join tool work the end points (round nodes) of the elements must be in the same place. Once the nodes are coincidental the tool works and the little blue arrows show up. Perhaps an image ?
